AMHERST, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University men's diving team wrapped up competition Sunday afternoon at the UB Diving Invite held Jan. 10-12 at the Alumni Arena Natatorium.
Freshman Austin Campbell led the Brown and White with a victory in the 1-meter dive on the first day of action, posting a total score of 245.75. Matthew Bielobradek grabbed a second-place finish behind his teammate with 235.8 points.
On day two, junior Michael Bruno earned third place in the 3-meter dive with a score of 297. Bruno was followed by Bielobradek (264.25) and Campbell (221.45) in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
St. Bonaventure returns to action Monday, Jan. 20 when the Bonnies welcome Binghamton to the Reilly Center Pool. Diving will commence at 11:00 a.m. with swimming slated for 2:00 p.m. That will be Senior Day as the Bonnies honor their senior class prior to the day's action.
