Men’s Swimming and Diving Earns Scholar All-America Team Honors, Ranks Near Top of Nation’s GPA List

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University men's swimming and diving team has again been named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Teams, continuing a tradition of success for head coach Sean McNamee's program.

The awards are in recognition of teams that achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2018 spring semester. This marks the eighth straight year that the Bonnies have been honored in at least one semester.

The Bonnies men's swimmers and divers compiled a 3.40 cumulative team GPA for the semester, and 15 members of the team were named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll following the academic year.

Only 15 NCAA Division I men's programs nationwide had a higher cumulative GPA during the spring semester than the Bonnies.

St. Bonaventure was one of seven Atlantic 10 teams given Scholar All-America recognition, but only one other A-10 school (Davidson, 3.46) registered a higher team GPA.
