ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. -- The St. Bonaventure University men's swimming and diving team will head to Erie Community College to take on Canisius in a dual meet this Sunday.
The Griffs are coming off a 178-109 win over Colgate on Nov. 5. Canisius tallied 10 first-place finishes, as Thomas Kirch earned a win in the 100-yard freestyle. He also grabbed a win in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.67. The 400-freestyle relay team of Kyle Griffin, Cameron MacDonald, Christian Westermeier and Kirch, led the way in the event with a time of 3:49.17.
The Bonnies are coming off action at the A-10 Quad Meet. Michael White Jr. earned two victories, one in the 200-IM (1:54.01) and the other in the 100-IM (53.14). The 400-freestyle relay team of David Shakhnrazanov, Nick Burdo, Logan Hellwig and Jordan Powers finished third at 3:13.33. On the diving board, Austin Childs earned the second-highest score on the 1-meter dive.
Sunday's action will begin at 11:00 a.m.
After the event at Canisius, the Bonnies will compete at the Zippy Invite at Akron on Dec. 2-4.
