GENEVA, Ohio -- The St. Bonaventure University men's swimming and diving team will travel to the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio, for the Atlantic 10 Quad Meet on Saturday and Sunday.
Joining the Bonnies at the A-10 Quad Meet will be La Salle and Saint Louis.
The two-day meet will be split into four sessions, each event running twice with the women swimming first and the men second. Both the men and women will have two sessions on Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and then begin action at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.
This past weekend, the Bonnies hosted two dual meets, highlighted by a 163.5-70.5 win over Colgate in which they won every single event on Saturday, Oct. 22. Senior Jack Hughes picked up two wins in the meet in the 200 and 500-freestyle events. Senior Michael White Jr. and junior Matt Taccard also starred with wins in the 400-medley and 200-backstroke, respectively. Both were also members of the 200-medley relay and 400-freestyle relay winning teams.
On Friday, Oct. 21, St. Bonaventure hosted Cleveland State. The Bonnies grabbed their first win of the day in the 50-freestyle as Taccard timed in at 21.57. White Jr. came in first place in the 100-freestyle with a time of 47.19 while Ben Galinski earned the victory in the 500-freestyle at 4:49.25. On the diving board, the Brown and White earned first-place finishes in both diving events as Ryan McLaughlin claimed the 1-meter and Austin Childs won the 3-meter.
Following action at the A-10 Quad Meet, the Bonnies will race Canisius at Erie Community College on Sunday, Nov. 13.
