Bonnies Return Home for Final Regular Season Meet Against Buffalo

ST BONAVENTURE, N.Y.- The St. Bonaventure men's swimming and diving team return to the Reilly Center Pool for their final regular season meet this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. to take on the University of Buffalo.

The Bonnies hope to avenge their 161-127 defeat from a year ago.

In that meet, James Martin finished in third-place in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.50.

In the 200-yard breaststroke, Ilya Nenashev finished in first-place with a time of 2:12.18.

In diving action, Mike Murphy finished in second-place in the 3-meter dive with a score of 318.98 and Dominic Butts-Ealy finished in third-place in the 1-meter dive with a score of 300.23.

Last week's meet against Niagara was postponed and will not be made up.

The Brown and White will also honor this year's senior before the meet. This year's senior being honored are; Michael Dansa, Peter Koenig, Yi Liu, Ilya Nenashev and Francisco Nieves.

This will be the Bonnies final tune up before they head back to the Atlantic-10 Championships at the Flickinger Aquatic Center in Buffalo, N.Y. A-10's will take place Feb 22-25.
