BUFFALO, N.Y. – The men's swimming and diving team is ready to take on Atlantic 10 rivals Duquesne and La Salle Saturday at Erie Community College.
Coming off a 158-125 loss to Pittsburgh on Oct. 16, the Brown and White look forward to getting back to competitive swimming.
In their last meet, freshman Dominic Butts-Ealy and sophomore Mike Murphy clinched first and second place in the 1-meter diving competition, respectively. Butts-Ealy proved his worth, earning a score of 257.81, ahead of Murphy, who scored a 219.60.
In the swimming portion of the meet, sophomores Ethan Rowan and Elias Homerin added another one-two combination in the 500-yard freestyle. Rowan recorded a time of 4:48.32, while Homerin touched in at 4:46.30.
Senior Kevin Murphy also picked up a first-place finish for the Bonnies, swimming a 2:00.81 in the 200-yard IM. He also placed third in the 200-yard freestyle, touching in at 1:45.34.
Diving is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. with swimming planned to start at 3:30 p.m.
