PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The men's swimming and diving team takes on Big East Conference rival Pittsburgh this Saturday in its second meet of the young season.
The Bonnies hope to rebound against the Panthers after falling to them in a close 159-139 meet last season.
In that meet, sophomore Ethan Rowan led the way for the Bonnies, finishing first in the 1,000-yard freestyle, touching in at 9:44.24, and first in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:44.80.
The Brown and White are coming off the WNY Invitational last weekend in Buffalo, N.Y. where Rowan picked up a first-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle, posting a time of 1:45.60. Rowan also took two second-place finishes in the 500-yard freestyle (4:46.32) and 1,000-yard freestyle (9:49.94).
The Pittsburgh meet will take place at Trees Pool with diving beginning at 11 a.m. and the swimming portion beginning at noon.
