A-10 Conference Releases Swimming & Diving Preseason Polls

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - The Atlantic 10 Conference released its annual swimming and diving preseason polls, predicting a second-place finish for the men.

Coming off their fourth straight second-place finish at the A-10 championships, the men's team opened their 2010-11 campaign at the WNY Invitational on Oct. 9.  There they swam against the likes of UB, Binghamton and Little Three rivals Canisius and Niagara.

 The Brown and White had a powerhouse performance from returner Ethan Rowan.  The sophomore picked up a first-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle, posting a time of 1:45.60. Rowan also took two second-place finishes in the 500-yard freestyle (4:46.32) and 1,000-yard freestyle (9:49.94)

The Bonnies return to the pool Oct. 16 to take on Big East foe Pitt.  The diving portion is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. with swimming to begin at noon.
