ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University Athletics Department held its annual Senior Honors and Awards luncheon Thursday, recognizing student-athletes for their outstanding accomplishments in competition and in the classroom.
ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Men’s junior swimmer Peter Koenig and sophomore diver Mike Murphy were rewarded for their work in the pool and in the classroom on Thursday by being named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Academic Team, as voted on by the league’s sports information directors.
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – St. Bonaventure divers Mike Murphy and Dominic Butts-Ealy wrapped up their successful 2010-11 campaigns this past weekend at the NCAA Zone A Championships held at Lejeune Hall at the United States Naval Academy.

The meet will be held at Lejeune Hall at the United States Naval Academy starting Friday and continuing through Sunday. Qualifying individuals will advance to the next stage of Zone Championships.
The men’s swimming and diving team remains in second place despite a disqualification in the 400-yard Medley Relay as the third day of the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships concluded Friday at the Flickinger Athletic Center.
After the second day of the Atlantic 10 Championships, the men's swimming and diving team (254) remains 26 points behind defending champion Massachusetts (280) with just two days remaining at the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships inside the Flickinger Center.
The men’s swimming and diving team finished tied for second place after the first day of the 2011 Atlantic10 Swimming and Diving Championships. The Bonnies and rival Xavier each earned 64 points, putting them behind Massachusetts who leads the scoreboard with 80 points.
The men’s swimming and diving team ended the Zippy Invitational in third place overall. The team earned 1435 total points, falling 191 points short of first-place team University of Buffalo and 34.5 points short of runner-up Xavier.
Coming off a tough loss to Cleveland State last Saturday in its home-opening meet, the men’s swimming and diving team was still recognized today with a ranking in the CollegeSwimming.com/College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Mid-Major Division I poll on Thursday.
The men’s swimming and diving team took on Atlantic 10 rivals LaSalle and Canisius Saturday afternoon at the Flickinger Aquatics Center at ECC. The Bonnies fell to LaSalle 168.5-165.5 but toppled over Canisius 261-73.
