As a Senior (2010-11)

He kicked his last senior home meet off with his best time of the season in the 50-yard backstroke, taking a first-place finish in the 200-yard relay for the team. He also helped to set the fifth Bonnies record of the afternoon during the Canisius meet in the 200-yard relay. Picked up a first-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly for the Bonnies in their defeat over the Canisius Griffins. And his 200-yard relay team picked up yet another first place during the win against Binghamton. Took eighth-place in the 100-yard butterfly at A-10 Championships. Earned a spot on the A-10 First-Team All-Conference.

As a Junior (2009-10)

In his third year with the Brown and White, Baker took sixth place in the 200-yard IM at the Atlantic 10 championships, posting a season-best time of 1:53.88.  Also at the A-10’s, he picked up a seventh place finish in the 100-yard butterfly, touching in at 50.63.  He helped the Bonnies earn the bronze medal at the A-10 championships in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a combined time of 6:47.52.     


As a Sophomore (2008-09)
Recorded the team's top time for the season in the 200-yard IM during the Atlantic 10 championships, taking fifth place with a time of 1:53.11...Won gold in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:21.97, just .09 seconds off the school record... Posted the second fastest time on the team in the 200-yard freestyle, also posted at the A-10 championships... Took gold in the 200-yard freestyle relay against Big East member Pittsburgh (1:26.15)... Posted a conference top-20 time in the 50-yard free at the WNY Invite (21.79).

As A Freshman (2007-08)
Enjoyed an impressive rookie season in the water ... earned one A-10 Rookie of the Week honor after capturing gold in the 200-yard freestyle (1:48.40) and placing second in the 200-yard butterfly (54.50) against Canisius ... teamed with seniors Roman Margulis and Scott Jordan as well as junior Chris Happel to earn a silver in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:37.88 against Michigan State ... also helped claim the top spot in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:29.21 against LaSalle, then a season-best time in the event for the Brown and White.

Before St. Bonaventure
Captained the swim team his senior year ... was also a finalist in the USA spring Sectionals and a Junior National qualifier ... named a scholar athlete and Most Valuable Player as a junior while coming in sixth place in the 100 fly and fifth place in the 200 IM at WPIALs ... a PIAA qualifier ... coached by Tom Donati, Tom Fletcher and Amanda Smith.

Born on July 15, 1989 ... son of Gary and Pam Baker ... has two sisters, Kelli (16) and Mary (5), and two brothers, Dominic (11) and Tony (9) ... an Eagle Scout and member of the Seneca Valley Swim Club ... has dedicated his swimming career in memory of his grandfather ... majoring in biology.
