ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - The nationally ranked Duquesne Dukes beat the St. Bonaventure Bonnies, 3-0 in an Atlantic 10 match up on Senior Day at McGraw-Jennings Field Saturday.

The Dukes are ranked No. 4 among the NSCAA/adidas Middle Atlantic Region.

Duquesne got on the board in the 33rd minute after a Derek Mackenzie goal. Mackenzie also had an assist on the day. The Dukes got insurance goals from Scott Gibson and Andrew Bell in the 40th and 60th minutes, respectively. Noah Salsi had two assists for Duquesne.

The Bonnies outshot the Dukes 12-9 on the day. Junior midfield Konrad Paszkowski led the Bonnies with three shots on goal.

Senior keeper Sean Eyde recorded two saves in 21 minutes of action.

The loss ends the careers of four Bona seniors, Eyde, Brian Donovan Misael Pedraza and Mike Hanna.

The loss concludes the Bonnies' 2004 season. They finished the year 8-9-1, 4-7. Duquesne ends the regular season at 13-6, 9-2.
