AMBLER, Pa. - The Temple Owls shutout St. Bonaventure, 2-0, in Atlantic 10 men's soccer action Sunday afternoon.

Temple's Ryan McMullan netted the Owl's first goal in the 60th minute off a pass from Nate Webb. Webb's header in the 68th minute off a cross from Steven Wacker put the Owl's ahead 2-0, and the Bonnies would never recover.

Freshman keeper Jonathan Blanchard, who was filling in for injured senior keeper Sean Eyde, tallied six saves in 90 minutes of action.

The Bonnies recorded three shots in each half, as the Owls outshot the Bonnies 15-6. Sophomore forward Kevin Omokhua led the Bonnies with three shots on the day.

The loss dropped the Bonnies to 7-7-1 on the season and 3-5 in Atlantic 10 Conference action. Temple improved to 8-6-2 overall and 5-1-2 in conference play.

The Bonnies return to action at Massachusetts on Friday, Oct. 29 at 3 p.m.
