BOWLING GREEN, O.H. - St. Bonaventure's hot streak continued Sunday, as the Bonnies earned their third win of the season and went undefeated in the Bowling Green Tournament. Sophomore midfielder Kevin Omokhua netted two goals as the Bonnies topped the Falcons, 4-1, Sunday afternoon. Freshman midfielder Nick Lopez scored the Bonnies' first goal in the 18th minute of play. Less than one minute later, Omokhua put the game-winning goal past Bowling Green goalkeeper Tyler Dollins. In the second period, Omokhua netted his second goal of the day in the 82nd minute, as junior midfielder Andy Garcia was credited with the assist. Senior forward Mike Hanna rounded out the Bonnies' scoring in the 85th minute off a pass from freshman forward Josh Henderson. Bowling Green's P.J. Behan netted the team's lone goal off a penalty kick in the 84th minute. In a complete game, senior keeper Sean Eyde recorded two saves. The Bonnies out shot the Falcons 11-7. The win improves the Bonnies to 3-0 on the season, while Bowling Green dropped to 0-3. Omokhua, Garcia and junior defender Konrad Paszkowski were named to the All-Tournament team. Although the Bonnies went undefeated in the tournament, IUPUI was crowned champion by virtue of goal differential. St. Bonaventure travels to Binghamton to take on the Bear Cats Wednesday at 4 p.m.
