PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The St. Bonaventure University men's soccer team fell to Atlantic 10 rival Duquesne, 4-0, Saturday night on the road.
The Dukes (7-3-1, 2-1 A-10) jumped out to an early lead when Nate Dragisich found the back of the net in the fourth minute, giving his squad a 1-0 lead they would never surrender.
The Bonnies (2-7, 0-3) managed just 11 shots and two shots on goal. Shea Currey led the way with two shots and one on goal.
In net for the Bonnies, Kyle Cunningham had four saves.
It was just the second career start for the Clarence, N.Y. native who was coming off a strong showing on the road against the Fordham Rams when he allowed just one goal over 63 minutes.
The Brown and White are back in action with another Atlantic 10 matchup Wednesday, Oct. 9 at home against George Washington.
It will be the Bonnies' first home game since Sept. 21 and the penultimate home matchup of the season, with only George Mason on Oct. 19 remaining.
