The St. Bonaventure men's soccer team takes to the road for the second consecutive game to take on the Albany Great Danes Monday night at 7:00 p.m. The Bonnies are fresh off their first victory of the season against an Albany side that has qualified for the NCAA Tournament the past two seasons.

The Great Danes enter Monday's contest with a record of 2-1 early in the season. Albany's most recent win came against Harvard, 3-2, in overtime on Aug. 31. Last season, Albany advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament after defeating Maryland, 5-4, in penalty kicks. The Great Danes were picked to finish third in this year's America East Conference standings. Albany received eight votes in last week's United Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll.

Monday marks the third meeting all-time between St. Bonaventure and Albany. In a meeting last season, Isaiah Wilson scored the game-winning goal in the 56th minute, giving the Bonnies a 1-0 victory at the Marra Athletics Complex. The Great Danes were receiving votes in the national Top 25 poll at the time of the Bonnies' win. The first meeting between the two sides was in 2003, a game in which Albany would win 2-1, in the only meeting at the home of the Great Danes.

Two Bonnies players have gotten off to a fast start this season. Seniors Kosi Nwafornso and Remi Dujardin made huge impacts in the Bonnies 2-0 win against Hartford. Nwafornso notched his second goal of the season and added an assist on the second goal. Dujardin made an immediate impact in his season debut on Friday, assisting on Nwafornso's goal.

The Bonnies face a 12-day layoff until their next contest. St. Bonaventure hosts Little Three rival Niagara at the Marra Athletics Complex on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 7:00 p.m.
