The St. Bonaventure University men's soccer team wraps up its 2016 regular season against Atlantic 10 rival Fordham. The Bonnies sit at seventh place in the Atlantic 10 with 10 points in conference play, while the Rams sit at third in the A-10 with 13 points.

St. Bonaventure put conference play on hold as they traveled to NJIT and fell, 4-1, on Saturday, Oct. 29. Nikko Richards' first career goal served as the lone Bona strike.

The Fordham Rams currently sit in third place in the Atlantic 10 with a 4-2-1 conference record. The Rams are coming off a 2-0 loss to UMass on Wednesday. They are led by midfielder/forward brothers Jannik and Janos Loebe, who lead the team in points this season. Jannik has tallied 12 points this season, while reigning Atlantic 10 Player of the Week Janos has 17. The Rams net-minder this season is sophomore Rashid Nuhu, who has posted a .759 save percentage with a 0.93 goals-against average while making 44 saves in 14 appearances. He has earned both Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week honors this season. The Rams have out-shot their opponents this season 220-171.

With Saturday serving as the final day of action in the Atlantic 10 regular season, the Bonnies enter the game against Fordham seventh in the A-10, putting themselves in position to qualify for the eight-team Atlantic 10 Championship tournament. With 10 points, the Bonnies will clinch a playoff with any of the following scenarios: First, a victory or a tie. Second, losses by both George Washington (eight points) and Dayton (eight points). Rhode Island (nine points) is also in the picture, and the outcome of their game could affect the Bonnies' playoff spot.

The Bonnies will await the official seeding for the Atlantic 10 Championship tournament released on Sunday that will determine their playoff fate.
