@BonniesMSoccer Welcomes Dayton on Senior Day

The St. Bonaventure University men's soccer team will take on the Dayton Flyers to continue Atlantic 10 action.

After defeating Davidson on Saturday, Oct. 8, the St. Bonaventure University men's soccer team fell at UMass on Wednesday, 1-0.

Prior to today's game, seniors Matthew Lane, Noel Orozco, Eddie Keen and Bonaventure Akinlosotu will be honored for their success and dedication to the St. Bonaventure men's soccer program. 

The Dayton Flyers come into the Marra Athletics Complex off a 5-0 win over Fort Wayne (Oct. 11). Dayton has played three consecutive home games prior to its trip to SBU. A pair of four-goal scorers lead the Dayton offense: Rok Taneski and Kennedy Nwabia. The Flyers have fielded three different goalkeepers in net so far this season. Frederic Barrios has played in seven games and made 20 saves in his 670 minutes of action with a goals against average of 0.54, while Justin Saliba has played in five games for 462:43 minutes and made 20 saves for a goals against average of 1.56. Oliver Hansen appeared in one game in net. 

The Bonnies' final home game of the season will be Wednesday, Oct. 19 as they welcome George Washington at 4:00 p.m. St. Bonaventure will then be on the road for its final three games of the season, heading to Saint Louis (Oct. 22), NJIT (Oct. 29) and Fordham (Nov. 5).
