The St. Bonaventure men's soccer team fell to Saint Joseph's, 2-0, in its Atlantic 10 debut Saturday evening at the Marra Athletics Complex.

The Bonnies outshot the Hawks, 13-9. The Brown and White pressured in the second half, firing seven shots to SJU's three.

The Duquesne Dukes are coming off a pair of scoreless, double-overtime games that ended in draws, most recently against common foe Buffalo (Oct. 1) and against Navy on Sept. 27. Duquesne's most recent win came over another common opponents, Robert Morris, by a score of 1-0 on Sept. 23. The Dukes started the season 1-2, but have gone 4-0-2 since, having not lost a match since Sept. 5. Duquesne is led offensively by Fredrik Borenstein, whose three goals and six points are team bests. Zach Hall has fired 16 total shots and put seven on goal, finding the back of the net once. Goalkeeper Evan Kozlowski has played every minute of all nine games this season. He's allowed more than one goal in a game just one time all season (Sept. 5, 3-2 loss at Wright State), and he has not surrendered a goal since Sept. 9. He comes into the Marra Athletics Complex with a goals against average of 0.62, which is the third best in the Atlantic 10.

The Bonnies will hit the road for the first time since Sept. 21 as they travel to Davidson. St. Bonaventure will face the Wildcats on Saturday, Oct. 8 with a 3:00 p.m. start.
