Dyck scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 Bonnies' win over Niagara Sunday afternoon (Sept. 18).
In the 35th minute, Niagara controlled the ball in the Bonaventure back line in front of the net. Noel Orozco cleared the ball for Bona deep down the middle, and found Dyck at midfield. Dyck beat his defender, and had a one-on-one breakaway on the Niagara keeper before netting his shot attempt for his second goal of the season.
"I am thrilled for Jake for getting the game-winner against Niagara," head coach Kwame Oduro said. "We hope to get more scoring from him this year."
The Mississauga, Ontario has appeared in all seven games so far this season for the Brown and White, and has started three. Sunday marked his second goal of the season. Both of Dyck's goals this season have been in big spots as his first career goal tied the game up in the second half at High Point on Sept. 4.
The Bonnies will be in action next on Wednesday as they travel to Buffalo to take on the Bulls at 7:00 p.m. They return home Saturday to take on Marist at the Marra Athletics Complex at 5:00 p.m.
