The St. Bonaventure men's soccer team will look to make it two wins in a row when they travel to Duquesne for another Saturday night Atlantic 10 battle.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies came away with a huge 2-1 road win at George Washington on Wednesday afternoon behind a pair of goals from freshman Kosi Nwafornso. George Washington had entered the match second in the Atlantic 10 standings. Sophomore Kieran Toland also notched two assists and freshman Luke Iacobellis made three saves for his first win in net.

KOSI'S BIG WEEK
Nwafornso has been red hot the past week, finding the back of the net three times in the past two games. After scoring his second career goal vs. UMass last Saturday, he then recorded both Bonnies goals in the 2-1 victory at GW on Wednesday. The win on Wednesday marked the first time a Bonnies player has scored multiple goals in a single game since Toland did so in the 2-1 season-opening win over NJIT.

FIRST ASSISTS FOR TOLAND
While Nwafornso received the headlines for scoring twice vs. GW, sophomore Kieran Toland set up the scoring by assisting both goals. It was the first two career assists for Toland who also has three career goals for the Brown and White.

SCOUTING DUQUESNE

  • Duquesne scored three times in 22 minutes to record a 3-1 win at George Mason on Wednesday. The victory snapped a three-match losing streak for the Dukes.
  • The Dukes will seek their first home victory – they're 0-5 in home matches this fall.
  • Senior Colin Phillips has scored eight of the Dukes' 15 goals this season
  • Senior goalkeeper Sam Frymier has started eight matches with an 0.93 goals against average with 42 saves. Redshirt junior Evan Kozlowski has started the other six matches with a 1.78 GAA and 13 saves.

NEXT UP
The Bonnies will host their regular season home finale vs. Saint Louis on Oct. 31.
