Dobson Earns USILA Team of the Week Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – St. Bonaventure University men's lacrosse redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Brett Dobson has been named as a member of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division I Dynamic Team of the Week.

The USILA Division I Dynamic Team of the Week is made up of 10 players from around country for their performances for the past week. The March 9 Team of the Week features players from Georgetown, Delaware, Penn State, Robert Morris, Maryland, UMBC, Denver, Notre Dame and Lehigh.

Dobson made 14 saves to help lead the Bonnies to their first win in program history in the season-opener last Saturday on the road at Quinnipiac.

An Oshawa, Ontario native, Dobson is one of 18 juniors on the St. Bonaventure roster who have been a part of the program since it's rebirth in 2019.

Dobson has made 13 career starts in net and has played in 17 games while amassing 195 career saves.

The Bonnies are back in action Saturday, March 13 on the road at Detroit Mercy in what will serve as the Brown and White's first game counting towards MAAC standings. That game is scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. start time.
