ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure men's lacrosse will again have its home games air live on the airwaves throughout the Southern Tier and around the world online through coverage from WGWE 105.9 FM.
Five of Bona's home games will air live through WGWE in Salamanca and available over the air throughout the region. The contests will also be live streamed through the station's website, wgwefm.com.
Radio coverage dates include: March 28 vs. Quinnipiac, March 31 vs. Cleveland State, April 4 vs. Manhattan, April 17 vs. Siena and April 24 vs. Marist.
Chris Russell will again provide the play-by-play of the Bonnies radio broadcasts.
"It is so exciting to not only follow the progress of the program, but to be able to provide play-by-play broadcasts of Bonnies Men's Lacrosse to the Southern Tier of New York, Northwestern Pennsylvania, and streaming online at wgwefm.com," said Russell, Operations Manager of WGWE-FM and also voice of the Bonnies women's basketball team. "With our coverage in March and April, we hope to again bring exciting lacrosse action to all Bonnies fans for a second season. What Coach Mearns is doing by building a team from the ground up is extremely excited and we are proud to be a part of Bona's growth as a program."
