Conklin, Dobson Named Among College Crosse's Top Division I Freshmen

All-Freshman Teams List

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Nick Conklin and Brett Dobson have been named honorable mentions to College Crosse's All-Freshman Team after success during their first seasons at the collegiate level.

Conklin made the close defense list after ranking second in the MAAC in caused turnovers per game and also was 22nd in all of Division I after recording 24 during the year. His 44 ground balls also led the Bonnies as he started all 13 games. He also added a goal and three assists for four points.

Dobson, who was also named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team, saw time in 11 games including seven starts, making 118 saves in nearly 400 minutes of action. He was named MAAC Rookie of the Week after making 23 saves in his collegiate debut at High Point in February and his 55.7 percent save percentage ranked third in the conference. He was also seventh in the MAAC in saves per game (10.73) despite playing just over 50 percent of the team's minutes this year.
