Morgan Turns In Another Strong Finish To Lead Bonnies Golfers in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Senior Brent Morgan capped a solid week of action by finishing in a tie for 16th out of 110 competitors, highlighting play for the St. Bonaventure golf team at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate.

As a team, the Bonnies finished the 54-hole tournament 14th out of 21 teams in the field (316-295-311/922).

Morgan carded a final round 76 at the Golden Horseshoe Gold Course to complete his week (74-72-76/222). For the Ohio native, it marks his sixth top-20 finish and he has failed to finish top-20 just once all season.

Teammate Danny Gianniny also checked in with a 76 on Tuesday, following rounds of 76 and 79.

Zach Chaddock (83-72-81/236), Matt Abendroth (83-72-82/237) and Nolan Ditcher (83-80-78/241) completed the Bonnies lineup.

The Bonnies are off until April 6-7 when they head to Malvern, Pa. for the Villanova Invitational at White Manor Country Club.
