HAMILTON, N.Y. – Senior Brent Morgan's final round 68 highlighted the weekend for the St. Bonaventure golf team as the Bonnies finished 10th out of 17 teams at the season-opening Alex Lagowitz Memorial at Seven Oaks Golf Club.

Morgan carded seven birdies on the par-72, 6,834-yard layout on Sunday to match his career low round. His final round effort launched him into a tie for seventh on the individual leaderboard out of 90 competitors after turning in rounds of 74 and 75 on Saturday. His 217 total was good for 1-over par for the weekend as just three players finished in red figures.

Sophomore Jack Geise won a lineup spot in pre-season qualifications and made that decision pay off by taking second on the team. His standout round came in the afternoon Saturday when he posted 2-under 70, following an opening round 74. On Sunday, he finished with a 3-over 75 for a 219 total (+3) and a tie for 14th on the leaderboard.

Zach Chaddock (77-76-77/230) and Matt Abendroth (81-72-80/233) also were in the scoring for the Bonnies.

In all the Bonnies finished with a 54-hole team score of 891. A tough opening round saw the Bonnies finish at 306, but the squad bounced back in the afternoon of day one with a 291. The Brown and White totaled 294 in Sunday's finale.

After having a first round disallowed on Saturday, Danny Gianniny completed his weekend with back-to-back rounds of 74.
