BONNIES, COLONIALS FINISH HOME-AND-HOME SERIES
- The Bonnies opened February with a win over George Mason this past Saturday to complete a season sweep of the Patriots and look to sweep the other half of the A-10's Revolutionary Rivalry as GW visits on Wednesday. Exactly one month ago, the Bonnies captured a 71-66 win in D.C. over GW.
- The month of February has been very good to St. Bonaventure in recent seasons. Since 2016, the Bonnies are 27-7 in February and have won 15 of the past 17 games in the past three seasons during the month.
- Bona sophomore Dominick Welch is on this week's Atlantic 10 Weekly Honor Roll after producing back-to-back double-doubles for the first time in his collegiate career. He averaged 18.0 ppg and 13.5 rpg in a pair of wins at Fordham and vs. George Mason last week. His 7.9 rebounds per game in nine A-10 games ranks ninth among all conference players during A-10 play with 19 of those boards coming on the offensive glass.
- In two career games vs. GW (both on the road), Osun Osunniyi has averaged 19.0 ppg and 12.5 rpg whille shooting 94 percent from the floor (16-for-17).
0 – Kyle Lofton did not register a field goal last Wednesday at Fordham – the first time in his 55 career collegiate games that he has not posted at least two field goals. He responded by going 6-for-11 from the floor Saturday vs. George Mason.
