St. Bonaventure senior guard Matt Mobley has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference basketball Player of the Week for the week that ended Feb. 4.
Mobley earned the award for his performances in two road wins last week. He averaged 27 points and 7.0 rebounds over the two games and made 18 of 29 shots (62 percent) from the field including 9-16 (.562) from three-point range. Mobley was also 9-9 at the free throw line.
The guard from Worcester, Mass., began the week with a 35-point, 11-rebound double-double at George Mason, setting a new career high in scoring. He was 7-9 from three-point range against the Patriots.
