St. Bonaventure rolled to a 109-73 win over Alfred (N.Y.) University in an exhibition game Saturday night in the Reilly Center.
A hot start gave St. Bonaventure a 17-5 lead less than five minutes into the night, and an 18-1 run to close the first half made it a 58-27 margin at halftime.
The Bonnies shot 57 percent from the field and held the smaller Saxons to 36 percent for the game.
Courtney Stockard, a redshirt junior forward who missed the past two seasons due to injuries, led all scorers with 20 points. He was 6-7 from the field and 6-7 at the free throw line. Matt Mobley scored 16 points, Josh Ayeni added 14 and freshman Tshiefu Ngalakulondi chipped in 12. In all, 11 of the 13 Bonnies who played recorded at least two field goals.
Senior All-America candidate Jaylen Adams left the game in the first half with an ankle injury and did not play the rest of the night as a precaution. He had seven points and four assists in 12 minutes.
Nick Schmidt, the oldest son of Bonnies coach Mark, led Alfred with 12 points.

The Bonnies scored 34 points off 19 Alfred turnovers, grabbing 12 steals.
