Ferlenda, Pulli Named To NYCBL All-Star Game

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure University products Brian Pulli and Alexander Ferlenda have earned All-Star honors from the New York Collegiate Baseball League for their standout performances this summer.

Pulli has been outstanding in the starting rotation for the Olean Oilers, posting a 3-1 record with a 2.43 ERA. In 33.1 innings of work over five starts, he has struck out 33 batters, walked only seven and has also tossed a complete game.

Ferlenda has hit .312 in 25 games at second base for the Syracuse Salt Cats including nine RBIs. He has also compiled a .427 on-base percentage on the way to being named an NYCBL All-Star for the second consecutive summer.

The All-Star accolades are even more impressive this summer as the NYCBL will have just one 30-man roster and faces off against all-stars from the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League.

This year's game will be played July 9 in Syracuse.
