GREENSBORO, N.C. – Tyler Kelder drove in two runs for the St. Bonaventure University baseball team, but the Bonnies could not hold a late lead and fell in 13 innings at North Carolina A&T, 5-4.

The Aggies jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on a sacrifice fly from Zach McLean that scored A.J. Hunt.

The Bonnies would answer back and then some.

Sam Fuller earned a free pass to start the uprising in the top of the fifth. After Fuller advanced to third on a single from Mike Magnanti, Brandon Henshaw smacked a single to center field to tie the game.

The Bonnies added three more runs in the top of the seventh. Magnanti scored on a passed ball, giving the Bonnies a 2-1 advantage. Tyler Kelder capped off the inning with a two-run single, extending the lead to 4-1.

N.C. A&T (7-11) tied the game at 4-4 in the bottom of the eighth inning by way of a Dawnoven Smith two-run double and an RBI single off the bat of Camden Williamson.

The game would remain tied until the bottom of the 13th inning.

With one out in the bottom half of the inning, Williamson stepped up and hit a walk-off home run to give the Aggies the win.

Brandon Schlimm started on the mound for the Bonnies and was solid. The senior tossed five innings of four-hit, one-run ball, walking two and striking out four. Roman Wild (2.2 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 3 R, 3 K) and Murphy O'Brien (2.1 IP, 1 H, 3 K, 1 BB) worked the middle innings for the Bonnies. Brian Pulli (0-1) worked 2.1 innings in relief with four strikeouts.

Magnanti finished the night 3-for-5 and Henshaw went 2-for-5.
