Schlimm pitches for the hometown Olean Oilers, while Grey and LaCongo play for the Hornell Dodgers.
Schlimm has been a standout for the Oilers all season. The Kersey, Pa., native is 2-1 with a 2.03 ERA in five starts. He has 30 strikeouts and just six walks in 35 innings. Schlimm went 2-6 with 4.26 ERA for the Bonnies this past spring as a freshman.
Through games of July 12, Grey was 4-3 with a 3.11 ERA. He ranks second in the league in strikeouts with 47 and has won three of his last four decisions. Grey will be a senior at St. Bonaventure this year.
LaCongo, who will be entering his first season with the Bonnies this year, is Grey's battery mate with the Hornell Dodgers. The Orchard Park, N.Y., native is batting .312 with nine RBI in 29 games (77 at-bats). LaCongo, who is known as an outstanding defensive catcher, attended Monroe (N.Y.) Community College the past two seasons.
Grey and LaCongo have helped the Dodgers to the NYCBL's best record, 25-10, and a three-game lead in the West division standings.
