Rebecca Davis serves as a member of the St. Bonaventure Sports Medicine staff and began her tenure in August 2019.
Before coming to St. Bonaventure, Davis served as an assistant athletic trainer at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, La. for the 2018-19 school year. There, she was responsible for the sports medicine needs of the men’s and women’s cross country and track teams. Prior to her stint in Louisiana, Davis was an athletic training resident at UConn from 2017 to 2018. In Storrs, she served as the primary athletic trainer for the women’s lacrosse team and assisted with care of the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams.
Davis is originally from Rochester, Mass. and earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Westfield State University. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Western New England University in 2018.
She became a Certified Athletic Trainer in 2016 shortly after her graduating from Westfield State. Davis is currently licensed in the State of Massachusetts, and New York. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and College Athletic Trainers Society (CATS). She is a TRX Qualified Group Instructor, Certified in Myokinematic Postural Restoration and is a certified professional rescuer (CPR/AED) for health care providers.
