The GoBonnies.com Female Athlete of the Week presented by Valley View Dental for the week ending Feb. 4 is women’s basketball freshman Abigail Johnson.

Johnson posted career bests in scoring and rebounding in Sunday’s game against George Washington. The London, England native delivered her first career double-double, finishing with 10 points and 11 rebounds while converting on five field goals.

It was just Johnson’s second game back from injury after returning last Wednesday vs. George Mason. The 6-foot-2 forward had been out of action since Dec. 21 due to injury.

In six games played this season, Johnson averages 7.5 rebounds per game.
