Bonnies fall to Xavier

CINCINNATI, OH. - The women's tennis team dropped its first conference dual match of the season, losing 7-0 at Xavier Friday night. The team lost two of its singles matches in three sets.

Junior Maria Barousse fell at second singles after taking the first set, losing 3-6, 6-0, 6-2. Freshman Amanda Pallikunnel fared just the same at fourth singles, taking the first set before dropping the next two (3-6, 6-0, 6-2).

The match was the first of what will be a busy weekend through the midwest for the team as they will face Dayton Saturday and IPFW on Sunday.
