Smith earns A-10 weekly honor

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - Senior Allison Smith earned Atlantic 10 Swimmer of the Week for her performance against Big 4 rival Canisius on December 18.

Smith captured a pair of individual gold medals on Dec. 18 in St. Bonaventure's 172-44.5 victory over Canisius.  The Tenafly, N.J., native won the 100-yard freestyle (54.66) and placed first in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:41.51) by more than a minute.  She also swam a leg on the winning 200-yard freestyle relay (1:43.90).

The Bonnies return to the pool against in-state rival, Binghamton, on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 1 p.m. at the Reilly Center.
