As A Freshman (2010)
Started 14 games and appeared in 24...five starts came at third base while the rest came as a designated hitter... sixth on the team with a .239 batting average...was fourth on the team with a .370 slugging percentage... had 11 hits and drove in 9 runs... totaled 17 bases on the season... struck out 17 times... had just one error on the year and had a .889 fielding percentage...Made her debut against UNC Wilmington (Feb. 27) as a pinch hitter... Made her first start against UNC Wilmington (Feb. 28) also going 0-for-1 with a run scored... she went 1-for-1 with a three run home run at Saint Joseph's (Apr. 3) in a pinch hit effort
Finished her senior season with a .423 batting average … was named first team Niagara Frontier League, honorable mention All Western New York, and won the All-Star Award for the NFL … after her senior earned the Kenmore coaches association award, Athletic Hall of Fame scholarship award, the Dick Hattrich memorial award and Distinguished athlete award … as a junior, started at shortstop and led her team to a 16-5 record … played junior varsity as an eighth grader and was pulled up as DH to the varsity team at the end of the season that went on to become the Section VI Class AA Champions and Far West Regional Class AA Champions … as a freshman, started as DH … started at shortstop and was named first team NFL and honorable mention All Western New York as a sophomore … won the Niagara Frontier League Championship her freshman and sophomore years.
Born September 9, 1991 … daughter of Thomas and Jacquelyn Frye … has two brothers Kyle and Eric … was an Honor Roll student and graduated with an advanced regent’s diploma … was involved with community service at the Kenmore Library during high school … also played volleyball and basketball … played club ball with La Nova … childhood education major.
