ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y.
- The Bonnies' softball team (0-4) will travel south this weekend to take part in the inaugural Buccaneer Softball Challenge at East Tennessee State University.  The Bonnies will play five games over three days hoping to grab their first win of the season.

St. Bonaventure meets Pittsburgh (8-5) on Friday morning at 11:45, followed by a matchup with North Carolina A&T (3-7) at 6:30 p.m.  Saturday afternoon the Bonnies face a back-to-back doubleheader, first against host ETSU (4-12) at 4:15 p.m. then against South Carolina State (0-8) at 6:30 p.m.  The Brown and White will round out the weekend with a Sunday morning 10 a.m. matchup with South Carolina State once again.

The Bonnies' offense struggled in Hawaii as they mustered only five runs in four games.  Freshman Jen Sansano started two of the four games and appeared in a third, posting a 4.61 earned run average in 13.2 innings pitched while striking out 10 and walking just two batters.

Lindsey Stowell and Jessenia Andujar paced the offense going 3-for-7 and 4-for-10 from the plate, respectively, on the trip.  Stowell drove in two runs and tabulated six total bases for a .857 slugging percentage.  Andujar drove in one run as well.
