Softball Picked for Ninth in A-10 Preseason Poll

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The St. Bonaventure University softball team was predicted to finish ninth in the Atlantic 10 in preseason voting conducted by conference head coaches.

The Bonnies posted a 13-27 record, including a 7-11 conference mark, last season under head coach Mike Threehouse. Junior catcher Brooke Frey led the offensive attack, batting at a .300 clip with a team-high eight home runs, 30 RBI, and 21 runs scored. Junior pitcher Erin Nargi hurled four complete games, striking out 44 and walking 32, in 2010.
