ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - St. Bonaventure women's soccer junior forward Anna Cunningham has been named to the 2009 Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer Preseason All-Conference team, in voting conducted by the league's head coaches.

The 11-member team includes student-athletes from just six of the 14 A-10 schools.

Cunningham earned first team A-10 All-Conference honors in 2008, after becoming just the third player in program history to have double-digit goals (10) and assists (10) in the same season. Her 30 points were the seventh-best total in single-season history, while she ranked third in the A-10 in all three of the major scoring categories. Cunningham was never held scoreless in back-to-back games in 2008 and registered three game-winning goals.

The Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich. native will enter her third season in the Brown and White in 14th place on the all-time points list with 43. Cunningham has registered a point in half (19) of her career games played over her first two seasons, while helping the Bonnies to a 14-4-1 record in games she has had a point in.

Cunningham and the Bonnies return all 20 players from last year's squad that won 11 games and earned the programs second-ever berth to the A-10 Tournament. Under fourth-year head coach Manoj Khettry, the Brown and White will usher in a three-member freshmen class when preseason camp gets underway on August 9.
