The St. Bonaventure women's soccer team will hit the road and continue to fight for their first win this Thursday as the Bonnies take on their fifth Atlantic 10 opponent, Fordham.
WHEN LAST WE MET
The Bonnies last faced Fordham on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016 and fell short in a 1-0 double overtime loss at home. Lane Cronin ended the game with a top shelf goal in the 103rd minute.
MALCOLM CONTINUES TO HOLD STRONG
Sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Malcolm continues to lead the A10 in saves with 82 through 13 games played. In the Bonnies last game at George Washington, Malcolm surpassed 200 career saves. Malcolm has provided the Bonnies defense with as much protection as possible and she'll look to hold strong against a Fordham team that's averaging just under nine shots per game.
The Rams (5-5-3) have split their first four games of A10 play and currently rank eighth in the conference. Fordham has been led by sophomore forward Amanda Miller, who has scored three goals for the Rams. Fordham has yet to allow more than two goals scored against them in a game this season and sophomore goalkeeper Kelly LaMorte has kept the Rams in check defensively with a 75% save percentage.
St. Bonaventure will return home on Sunday, Oct. 8 to face off against Rhode Island (3-9) at 1:00 p.m.
