WHEN LAST WE MET
The Bonnies and UMass-Lowell have met twice previously in the sport of women's soccer with the last meeting coming during the 2014 season. On that day, the Bonnies dropped 1-0 decision at UMass-Lowell. The previous season in the only other meeting in Western New York, the Bonnies scored a 3-1 win at McGraw-Jennings Field and outshot the Riverhawks 23-7 on Sept. 20, 2013.
The Riverhawks are 2-1-2 on the season, but are seeking their first road win after going 0-1-1 away from home in their first two road contests. UMass-Lowell claimed a 2-1 win in double overtime over NJIT and also nipped Sacred Heart, 1-0, last time out this past Sunday. UMass-Lowell fought to scoreless draws with Army and Bryant and suffered a 1-0 heartbreaker at Colgate in its only defeat. Julia Schnieder has played every second in net, making 32 saves on the year.
St. Bonaventure travels to Canisius on Sunday to take on the Golden Griffs in Buffalo at 4 p.m.
