St. Bonaventure Women's Soccer Honored With NSCAA Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The St. Bonaventure University women's soccer team has earned the 2015-16 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award, officials announced this past week.

The Bonnies tallied a 3.43 GPA during the past academic year under head coach Steve Brdarski and the program has now been honored for the 10th consecutive year for its collective academic achievement. In all, St. Bonaventure women's soccer has earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award 15 times.

Last spring, the women's soccer team was one of six St. Bonaventure programs to earn recognition from the NCAA by ranking in the top 10 percent in the nation of their respective sport's Academic Progress Rate (APR).  The APR accounts for eligibility, retention and graduation and provides a measure of each team's academic performance.
