Molly Curry acted as a go-to force for head coach Manoj Khettry as she played in all 20 games of the 2012 campaign… finished the season with four goals, three of them served as game winners while the fourth was a game-tying goal … her first goal and game winner game came in the 81st minute of a 3-2 win at Canisius (Sept. 23) … scored her final two game winners in consecutive games, both double overtime wins (at Xavier on Oct. 21 and vs. UMass on Oct. 26) … scored her final goal of the season the very next game … this goal served as the equalizer in a 2-1 win against Rhode Island on Oct. 28 … with her clutch play toward the end of the season, Molly was an huge factor in the Bonnies’ late season run, eventually leading to a trip to the A-10 quarterfinals … Molly’s stellar play during the final week of the 2012 season earned her the honor of receiving the A-10 Player of the Week on Oct. 15, the first POW award of her career … her 19 shots against conference teams help propel the Bonnies to a ranking of 4th in the A-10 in shots during Conference play … against Xavier, the game in which the Bonnies achieved their game high in shots, Curry contributed five (her season high).

Became an immediate offensive force for head coach Manoj Khettry in just her first season wearing the Brown and White … one of just two SBU players with double-digit points on the season as she scored four goals and added two assists for 10 points … the only Bona player with two multi-point games (goal and assist in the same game) … she accomplished that feat in back-to-back contests on the same weekend as she scored a goal and added an assist against Canisius and Niagara on Sept. 16 and 18, respectively … the tally against Niagara was the game-winner … scored a goal in consecutive games against Duquesne on Oct. 8 and Charlotte on Oct. 14 … led Bonaventure in shots during the A-10 schedule with 26 … one of just three freshmen to play in all 20 games … made nine starts on the campaign, five of which came in A-10 action and another in the A-10 Championship game against Massachusetts … her eight shots attempted against Charlotte on Oct. 14 were tied for the second most by a Bona player in a single game all year.
