Cunningham Earns All-Region Honors

ST.BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Senior Anna Cunningham of the St. Bonaventure women's soccer team has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Mid-Atlantic All-Region Second Team. 

Cunningham, an Atlantic 10 First Team All-Conference selection this past season, led the St. Bonaventure women's soccer team in scoring with 23 points on 10 goals and three assists.  The Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich. native was also named to the CoSIDA/ESPN Academic All-District Second Team and the Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Soccer All-Championship team.

Ten student-athletes from six Atlantic 10 schools were represented on this year's All-Mid-Atlantic Region first, second and third teams.

St. Bonaventure posted a 12-9 record in 2010, and earned the first postseason victory in program history with a 2-0 triumph over Massachusetts on Nov. 4 in the opening game of the Atlantic 10 Championship.
