PHILADELPHIA, Pa – The La Salle explorers raced out to an early 5-0 lead and never looked back, cruising to a 14-2 Atlantic 10 win over the Bonnies Sunday afternoon.
Rylee Arnold put an end to the La Salle run with a goal of her own at the 8:09 mark of the first-half. The Explorers would go onto score four more goals in the first half to take a 9-1 lead into the break.
The Bonnies were unable to get the offense going in the second half only managing to score one goal. Julia Davidson netted the Bonnies only goal with 13:58 left in the second half.
La Salle added two more goals to secure the 14-2 win.
In net, Morgan Conroy played the entire game giving up 14 goals while making eight saves.
St. Bonaventure will return home for its final three games of the 2018 season. Next weekend the Bonnies will host George Mason Friday at 4:00 p.m. and hosts Davidson Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
