ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse coaches will host a Shooting School and Goalie Camp on Oct. 8 from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. The Shooting School focuses on improving mechanics and building your arsenal with inside and outside shooting drills. The Goalie Camp focuses on fundamentals and basic breakdowns with angle work and perfecting the clear.
The clinic takes place at the Marra Athletics Complex on-campus at St. Bonaventure University. The total cost is $75 per athlete.
Assistant coaches, Jenna Kasmarik and Christina Baffuto, provide insight into their specific skill positions.
Kasmarik started at Winthrop and took her team to its first Big South Championship in 2015 with a conference record 78 goals in her senior season. Kasmarik was 2014-2015 Big South All Conference 1st Team, 2014-2015 five-time Big South Conference Offensive Player of the week, and 2015 Big South Conference Player of the Year.
Baffuto was a goalkeeper at nationally-ranked Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania where she appeared in three Division II NCAA Championships. In 2015 she played every minute of her final season with a goals against average of 4.98, save percentage of .518, and 113 saves. She was 2014-2015 NCAA All –Tournament Team, 2015 IWLCA Division II Goalkeeper of the year, and 2015 NCAA Woman of the Year Award nominee.
