Fallon Shines in #Bonnies Loss at George Mason

FAIRFAX, Va. – The St. Bonaventure University women's lacrosse team fell at George Mason 21-9, Sunday afternoon.

Leading the way for the Bonnies offensively was Taylor Fallon, who netted five Bona goals. Scarlet Jawarski scored two, while Rachel Perla and Maddison Appel scored one each.

Down 4-0, Fallon scored the first Bona goal at the 22:48 mark.

The Bonnies got things going a bit offensively in the final 13 minutes of the first half, scoring six more goals before the break. Fallon scored two in the final 1:30 of the half, sending the Bonnies into the break down, 12-7.

The two teams battled early in the second half, but Appel broke the silence nearly two minutes in for the first goal of the half.

Fallon netted the team's final goal at the 12:18 mark.

Morgan Conroy started in net for the Bonnies and made six saves before being relieved by Kerrigan Cummins, who saved just as many shots.

St. Bonaventure grabbed 16 total groundballs, led by Kristine Wallance with four.

The Bonnies will be in action next as they welcome Saint Joseph's on Friday at 4:00 p.m., the team's first Atlantic 10 game at the Marra Athletics Complex of the 2017 season.
