St. Bonaventure will look to improve to .500 as it hosts the Howard Bison for the home game at the Marra Athletics Complex of the 2016 season.

The St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team could not overcome a hot start from rival Siena on Saturday, March 12, dropping an 18-7 decision.

Rachel Perla
scored twice for the Bonnies and was the only player in Brown and White to find the net multiple times.

Down 2-1, Mary Maestri found the net off a free position shot to square the score at 2-2 at the 26:28 mark.

The Saints then embarked on a 9-0 run to take control of the match before a score from Perla assisted by Mikayla Place ended the Bona drought with 10 minutes left in the half. Siena would take a 14-4 lead to intermission.

Scarlet Jawkorski scored just over a minute into the second half, but from there the Saints were able to run out the clock thanks to their impressive first half.

Morgan Conroy
saw the lion's share of time in net for Bona, stopping eight shots.
