Bonnies Visit Duquesne in A-10 Tilt

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team (2-4, 0-2) will travel to Duquesne this week for another A-10 conference game on Thursday against the Dukes (8-4, 1-1) and look to end its four-game losing streak.

In the Bonnies' most recent contest, La Salle (9-2, 2-0 Atlantic 10) scored four goals in 1:44 to break an 8-8 tie, spoiling a three-goal outing from Lauren Michaels in a 14-10 St. Bonaventure (2-4, 0-2) loss at McCarthy Stadium on Sunday.

SBU will look to senior midfielder Amanda Cizenski and junior midfielder Marybeth Madia who both scored within 57 seconds of each other during the La Salle game to tie the score.

Sophomore netminder Sara Schlagenhauf also made a career-high 12 saves during the game.

The Dukes will look for a second consecutive win, after defeating Temple 14-7 this past weekend.

Sophomore midfielder Caitlin Prince scored five goals in the game against Temple with one of them being the game-winning goal nine and half minutes into the game.

Senior goalkeeper Liz Walker made eight saves during the game.

The Bonnies will play the Dukes on Thursday March 5 at 2 p.m. on Rooney Field.
