BUFFALO, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure men's outdoor track team competed at the University at Buffalo Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Racing in the 400 meters, Bonnies newcomer Ryan Walker competed for the first time and took a sixth place final finish (56.61) after winning his heat.
Drew Bille also had a season best of 2:05.40 in the 800 meters, finishing just ahead of Matthew Bacher who also ran his fastest time of the season at 2:06.41. Kyle Haller also ran the event and beat his season-fastest mark by approximately six seconds at 2:10.21.
In the 1500 meters, Mark Vaccaro easily ran his fastest time of the spring with a mark of 4:21.72, ahead of a 4:30.81 he ran earlier in the month.
Saturday served as the final warmup for the Bonnies before traveling to the Atlantic 10 Championships next weekend at the University of Massachusetts.
